Barça to Host First Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday

The club confirmed they will play at the still-under-construction Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Basque side in domestic competition two and a half years since relocating to allow renovations to start.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans are permitted inside under the licence granted. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced finished work included a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.

Recent Activities

Barça organized a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium in early November. They mentioned they were hoping for permission by UEFA to host the next European match facing Eintracht in December in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
