A Palestinian-American adolescent having endured 270 days in imprisonment by Israel without charge has been freed.

Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 during his detention this past winter in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, during a family visit on holiday from Florida for allegedly throwing stones against settlement residents, which he previously denied.

American diplomatic officials said it welcomed the news of Mohammed's release.

Currently aged sixteen, required hospitalization upon gaining freedom, family members reported.

They said he is visibly pale and thin, while battling health issues acquired while detained.

In a statement, Mohammed's uncle spoke of the family's "overwhelming sense of relief".

The uncle, Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" over the last nine months.

"Currently, our priority is ensuring Mohammed receives the immediate medical attention he requires following exposure to mistreatment by authorities and brutal treatment over several months."

American authorities announced ongoing to provide consular support for the Ibrahim family.

{"The Trump Administration considers paramount than the safety and security of American nationals"," it added.

A group of American legislators submitted a formal letter to the state department and the administration, demanding more be done for his freedom.

Mohammed's parent, a father-of-four operating an ice cream shop in Florida, previously claimed his son only confessed about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.

The father hadn't visited nor direct contact following the detention, receiving updates exclusively what had happened to him via legal paperwork.

Mohammed was held absent formal charges at Ofer detention facility in the West Bank.

The facility also contains grown detainees, featuring prisoners sentenced for major terrorist activities including killings.

Approximately several hundred young Palestinian detainees currently imprisoned in Israel, according to the Israeli Prison Service.

Many have never been charged while advocacy organizations, as well as the United Nations, report instances of mistreatment and torture.

After the teenager's freedom, family representatives announced the family would also continue fighting demanding accountability for their family member their cousin Sayfollah.

The dual national youth per medical officials succumbed to assault by Israeli settlers following tensions in July.

During that period, the Israeli military said authorities were looking into accounts of a Palestinian had been killed.

Both young men had worked together at their family's ice cream business from Tampa.

No indictments occurred regarding Sayfollah's death.

"We demand US authorities to ensure our family's safety," the uncle stated.
