Every fixture of Premier League matches in the current term, sports analyst Troy Deeney will give his lineup and manager of the Week.

Keeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): His team could have been trailing by six at Bournemouth without him. Crucial performance, rose to the occasion and demonstrated real class. Superb shot-stopping to secure a 2-2 draw. Losing might have ruined their campaign.

Defenders

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's in the running for season's best. People will talk Gunners' stars. He's been the top performer by far.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a mad supporter to say 'He scores and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You could have gotten massive odds on that. He performed brilliantly. He's becoming a dominant figure. He proves to be a handful. Pleased to watch him perform as he did previously.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him multiple matches the previous season in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled due to errors. However with the Magpies he's been a monster. He displays great strength and forceful and seems polished. It looks like he's found a ideal club.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a full-back, leaning towards a modern type going forward. He's been a wonderful signing for Brighton. It's no shock at them discovering another star unexpectedly? I thought after selling Pervis Estupinan that was strange but Brighton know more than us.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Similar players and they're in for the same reason. Their teams won, everyone will talk those who netted, but lacking these players the squads falter. They excel. They break up play, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The man of the moment. Many Arsenal fans, such as family members, expressed skepticism whether he was the man to get them over the top. Three goals in the key match and supporters now wish to erect a monument of him. Finishing, poise, he dominated. The standout individual on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it will prove extremely tough to leave him out. My view was he began well this campaign, I think he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could have got a move to Chelsea, and probably wanted that, but he appears to have found his footing. Two superb finishes in the Leeds match pulled his side from a deficit. He made the impact.

Forwards

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he doesn't look his typical form. He looked like he was slower. But wow. That's all I can say. He performed superbly. Phenomenal in his approach and in his dual goals.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He plays well, typically sharper when introduced, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he is required to feature. He failed to convert a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his most straightforward effort. Yet possessing the psychological strength to enter into difficult situations and get a brace was remarkable.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He steps in and outperforms Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. It might have been several more for Forest and few would dispute.
